Dear labyrinth workers,
For the online LabyrintWerk master classes we invite both national and international speakers to share their knowledge and wisdom about the labyrinth, from the everyday point of view to metaphysical contemplations. They deepen and enrich your experience of the labyrinth. Our speakers are encouraged to go in depth in their master class. Therefore, experience with the labyrinth, and for example knowledge of how to draw a classical labyrinth, is highly recommended.
- The language of these online LabyrintWerk master classes is English. If and when necessary, a short translation or clearification will be done into Dutch for our members.
- After your registration you will receive a confirmation of participation. Several days before the master class you will receive the invitation link for the online session via zoom.
- Participation is free of charge for LabyrintWerk members. Non-members pay €25/USD30 per master class.
- Wishing to join but not available on the date? Please do register and you will receive the replay link after the broadcast. It will be available to watch for approx. one week.
Looking forward to meeting you at these interesting LabyrintWerk master classes!

Master Class with Gernot Candolini:
“The Difference between the Way In and the Way Out”
Every labyrinth has two paths. The way in and the way out. Both have a different mood, pace and meaning. Famous stories can help to understand the difference. Gernot Candolini will share three stories: the myth of Theseus, the old testament story of Jona, and the fairy tale The Frog King.
These stories are examples of “labyrinth stories” that have a departure, a goal, a winding path, but also reflect what happens after we reached the center. With the help of these stories we will understand why the path into the labyrinth is called the path to victory or the path to know, while the path back out is called the path to love.
Gernot Candolini (1959) from Innsbruck, Austria is an author of several labyrinth books (one has been translated into Dutch, two into English). He has planned or built over 50 labyrinths throughout Europe (www.labyrinthe.at). He also maintains a homepage with a collection of the labyrinths of Austria (www.labyrinth.at).
